The Gabriel Project offers immediate and practical assistance to a woman or family experiencing a crisis pregnancy. It provides this assistance in a confidential manner and does not discriminate because of race, color, national origin, age, marital status, or religious affiliation. The “Angels” from participating churches support the woman's choice for life through friendship, encouragement, and prayer throughout her pregnancy and into the child’s early years. In addition, the “Angel" helps the expectant mom with various practical needs such as finding resources and providing material support.
At any time in this deanery, there are approximately 180 families and 220 children (born and unborn) enrolled as Gabriel Project clients at any time. Consequently, there is an ongoing need for support to help mothers continue to say “yes” to the beautiful gift of life. You can help by depositing items in the basket located in the Basilica vestibule. Examples of items/services always needed:
Baby hygiene, food, clothing, and comfort items
Maternity clothing
Baby furniture (in good condition and up to code please)
Sewing services to repair donated clothing and linens
