It will be given by Steve Hemler, President of the Catholic Apologetics Institute of North America (CAINA)and author of a trilogy of published apologetics books. Many of his ancestors attended Conewago Chapel and are buried there. Almost everyone has heard of the extraordinary appearances of the Virgin Mary to 14-year-old Bernadette Soubirous at Lourdes in 1858. But have you ever really explored the details of the incredible healings that have occurred since then at this small town in Southern France? This presentation briefly reviews the history of the apparitions and then looks at several of the thousands of cures that have taken place in Lourdes, including recent ones that defy explanation by even the most skeptical medical personnel using the best modern technology.
